Volunteer Research Assistant
Alexandra Souris
Alexandra is a rising fourth-year at the University of California, Los Angeles, double majoring in Psychobiology and Anthropology. Her research interests center on the intersection of biological, psychological, and social factors in shaping health, with a particular interest in how these relationships influence oral and craniofacial health. She is especially interested in understanding how systemic health, development, and social environments contribute to differences in health outcomes and access to care. Through her research and clinical experiences, Alexandra hopes to explore how interdisciplinary approaches can inform more individualized and equitable patient care. She intends to pursue a career in dentistry, where she hopes to integrate research, clinical practice, and community-centered care. Outside of the lab, Alexandra enjoys creating flower arrangements and recreating Pinterest desserts.
